Definitely Samoan and black. I knew his Dad, Rocky Johnson, several years ago. We both worked out at the same gym in Dallas. Once in awhile he would bring his son Duane with him. Of course Duane grew up to be The Rock. The Samoan side comes from the lineage of Rocks mother, the daughter of the Great Peter Maivia.
