it could just be that you keep missing the pills and the hormones in your body are trying to keep up. when they come unbalanced it is not uncommon that you may have some spoting. if the symptoms keep occuring then i would suggest takeing a test or going to your doctor and have them give you one. if there is any kind of way you think you are pregnant then i would stop taking the pills until i found out for sure, because the pills can hurt a unborn child. but if you stop taking the pills do continue to use condoms just incase. hope this helps and good luck

I have a question because my computer wont let me ask a question if you guys can answer me to that would be GREAT: my question is; On 10/13/06 I unprotected sex. Around 10/18/06 i had a very light period (which could have been implantation bleeding.) My next "period" was a week late and again was abnormal. I asked a friend who had been pregnant if this meant I wasn't pregnant. She said that she had had a "period" around the same time as she was suppose to in the first trimester and her doctor contributed it to hormone levels. I am having pretty much all of the signs of first trimester pregnancy expect for food cravings. My period this month was two weeks late and I just started a "period" today but it is brown and very light. I looked this up online and they said that it is normal but could also be a sign of miscarriage. Do you think I'm pregnant or am I just paranoid? I took 3 pregnancy test. Two came back negative (taken 3 weeks after sex) and the last I took a week ago came back positive. Pregnant or paranoid? If you answer mine will you put Nikki so I know its for me?

Maybe, or it could be a change in your menstrual cicle. When you skip pills, specially if you skip more than 2 days, you are supposed to start a new pack and use alternative method of birth control. So there is really no way to know if you are pregnant or that if by taking the pill every other day, you've thrown your cicle out of wack. The best way to know for certain is to buy a home pregnancy test and take it. Good luck!

Ha ha he didn't accidentally slip into you he did it on purpose silly.... but about the blood the first time i had sex my hymen did not break or as some say the cherry pops> i had sex about 10 more times with my boyfriend and finally within those times i started seeing blood spots it did worry me a little but not that much and sometimes when i have sex with him it will come and go but im use to it it's all normal for some to bleed....and using tampons and getting fingered won't cause it to break that i know of you have to have sex it has to go deep into you in order for that to happen and tampons don't go no way near that far neither does a finger (at least i hope not) but i never heard of if you have unprotected sex and you bleed that your soon to be pregnant could be a MYTH don't know but i guess the best thing to do now is to just wait about 2-3 weeks after you had sex and take a test just to be sure right? i wish you good luck with everything and life

To find out if you are pregnant, take a home pregnancy test and use first morning urine. You can test as soon as you are late for your period.
To prevent pregnancy, you must take the pills every single day at the same time and never miss one. If you miss even one single pill, you are not protected for that month and can easily get pregnant. Its just like having unprotected sex. You will need to use condoms with spermicide if you miss even one single pill, or you will likely get pregnant.
If you can't manage to take the pills as they are supposed to be, gthen you should consider a different b.c. method such as Nuvaring, Norplant, the birth control patch, the Mirena IUD, or Depo-Provera Injections. Make an appointment at Planned Parenthood or your regular ob-gyn to learn more.

anytime you have unprotected sex there is a chance you might be pregnant, but i would think your problem is more from not taking your birth control right. wait a week or two and test to be sure, but start being more careful please if you dont want to be pregnant.

Hun, if you are trying not to get pregnant, you should be doubling up on contraceptives, condoms and BC. Especially if you keep messing them up!
Hun give it time you could be getting your period, and or be constipated. If you believe that you are pregnant stop taking your pills and go to your doctor to confirm. If it turns out your not pregnant get you doctor to put you on something that you can't forget to take!

It's possible but more likely your spotting and bloating are caused by the missed pills. That hormonal imbalance can also cause fatigue.
