The best place I have found is spamcop, at http://www.spamcop.net. In order for them to trace the spam you sign up - it is free. They are really terrific. When I get spam I forward it to them and minutes later, they have traced to spam to where it really originated, reported it to the system administrator there and allow you to add your own comments. The tracing report is available to you and it has everything you need.
You need to forward the spam email to them with the complete header.

Go to Internet Explorer - click tools and then accounts - you will see your default server listed there

Contact your email provider and ask them, it's different for each email.
