Sweetie, that's completely normal with the first pregnancy, I think all moms feel that way with their first. Good luck, and congrats!

It is completely normal to worry and get nervous. This being your first just makes it that much harder. You don't really have any idea what to expect. I will tell you this though...even I am worried and nervous and I have done this before! I also was studying to become a birthing doula and I am armed with all kinds of information...and I am still a bit nervous!
Every woman wants there birthing and baby experience to be perfect and it is in our nature to be afraid that something will go wrong.
All I can say is try and relax...read a lot of books, surf the net, and the discovery channel is wonderful. It might make you feel better to be well informed. Some people may think it is not a good idea to get yourself all worked up over things that probably will not happen....but I know that I would rather be prepared.
The chances of anything going wrong are VERY slim. You should be trying to enjoy your pregnancy and preparing to care for a new little one.
Trust me....your instincts do kick in and you will be fine. Otherwise, those of us who have a house full of children would have stopped at one!
Good luck and Congratulations!

You are completely normal!! Most people are nervous even with their 2nd and 3rd children. Children are lots of responsibility. I worried about raising them right, instilling the right morals and values, and what if I screwed them up? However, 8 years and 3 sons later, I am more confident that yes, I may make mistakes along the way, but as long as I am there for them anytime they need me and they get love and discipline, they will most likely turn out okay.

First, relax, you are not the only one!! :)
I think every new mom-to-be goes through it! I know I sure did when pregnant with my first. Its a major life change and to get nervous is completely natural.
Congratulations and Good Luck!

Its normal mommy to be. It's something you've never done before, and its a big responsibility to take on. But I assure you being a mommy comes naturally after your baby arrives. You will have a lot of support and get lots of advice(so much it will get annoying! :) But right now just remember to eat healthy and take you prenatal viatimins and take care of yourself and you will already be doing a great job as mommy! Take care. And congrats on your little one!!

That happens with the first pregnancy, it's like you are very anxious, but that's ok I felt like that with my first child. I'm on the second now, I'm 6months pregnant, but it is a beautiful experience. Congratulations on the baby and good luck.
