Why don't fans complain about players conduct in other Sports compared to basketball?

The Bengals has had over 8 players incarcerated this year alone, but where are the people complaining about them. Terrell Owens spits in DeAngelo Halls face, but where is the uproar with that. Why is it that a hockey player (Bartuzzi) can end another players career on purpose, but still play in the NHL. It makes no sense to me.

I agree 100 percent. They act like basketball is a high society sport, aint like it's golf or something. BB is an emotional game and can lead to punches being thrown. Baseball don't get this much flack,like you said Football,Hockey or any other sport. I think it's because (and I'm not racist) BB is a prodominatly African american dominated sport that they act this way. Not to mention the league has changed over the years,there's more younger players due to them coming out of H.S. And the players mentalities are a lil diffrent than when Magic nem ran the league.So the commish of the NBA knows most of these kids come from the streets,playing playground ball growing up in the inner city. So he thinks that they'll bring that mentality to the NBA. You can tell he feels this way because he's already changed the dress code (no t's,no baggy jeans,no walkmens,no long hanging jewelry,no ballcaps etc.) He thinks the culture brings a bad image to the leauge. Plus he has all the investors behind the scenes dictating what goes on. So as soon as something like this happens, they blow it all out of proportion, as well as sportscenter and all other sports shows,they're trying to control the image of the league. And once again, I believe it bcuzz he saw the culture coming into the league. This wasn't going on when MJ got into scraps(and he did) Reggie Miller was banging,Charles Oakley, Larry Johnson, Shaq stole on Miller one time as a matter of fact. I can name all kind of stars that got into fights. There was a Knicks vs Pacer fight sum yrs ago that looked just like this past one. They didn't blow it up like this. Then they wanna try to bash Carmelo, he was only doing what came natural if it was his brother being attack, he's the leader of the team,so anyone would react this way. Man i could go on and on,but this is just my opinion.

Don't forget Zinedine Zidane and his head butt during the 2006 World Cup. Funny how people universally condemned him for his aggressiveness, yet said they understood where the aggression came from and gave him a free pass.

YOU KNOW THE ANSWER. 90% OF THE PLAYERS IN THE NBA HAVE THE WRONG COMPLEXION TO HAVE THE RIGHT CONNECTION.
