I have a wipe warmer for my daughter and I guess I am the minority here because I like it. It is made by Prince Lionheart and it uses specially designed micropore pillows that fit between the heat source and wipes, keeping wipes moist and fresh. The micropore pillows are also anti-microbial and keep bacteria from forming. Basically, about once a week I take the micropore pillow out of the bottom and rinse it and put it back in the wipe warmer. That way the wipes stay fresh and don't dry out. The micropore pillows need to be replaced every 3 months. I have never had a problem with the wipes getting too hot. Also, even though the wipes start to cool off as soon as you pull them out of the warmer, they are much warmer than wipes that have not been warmed. My daughter doesn't scream or cry when I use cold wipes on her, but her eyes do get really big. I guess it just shocks her a little bit.

I used a wipe warmer for my son when he was born but as soon as i would take the wipes out and get them to my son they would be cold already. I only used it for the first few months maybe three so there kind of a waste of money. I got mine as a gift other wise i might not have even used one.

Yes, I have used a diaper wipe warmer and I was told by my childs doctor not to use them because the warming machine causes bacteria to grow in the wipes and it can cause health problems for your child. I strongly recommend not using one.

My husband and I bought one of those silly things at Wal mart.
What a waste of money. It worked for few days...warming the wipes up slightly (and also drying them out faster so we had to buy a lot more.). If you use scented wipes, it sends the scent around the room like an air freshener...only the scent spreads throughout the whole house quickly. (That gets old quick). Also if you leave it on too long, the wipes get too warm...
I stopped using mine and sold it on Ebay.

I never used one. I just used the typical diaper wipes. I used warm facecoths if my baby had a really bad diaper rash.

I never did. If the baby is used to cold wipes they're fine with it. I heard some bad reports about them too, about uneven heating and that there had been reports of the getting too hot and burning the baby. Not worth it.

Yes, but the wipes get dried out very easily. Not worth it, I don't think a child needs to be that spoiled by having a warm wipe. Is the toilet seat always warm when we sit down?

I didnt like the ones I had to use for the kids I nannied. The wipes were always dry, and by the time you opened the lid and pulled one out and reached the babies hiney, it was cold again.
I dont think theyre worth it.
