Well I'm 25 weeks pregnant, and I don't know why it is so hard for you to urine. Have you told your OBGYN? Maybe that's just how your body is reacting to the pregnancy. Yes, the baby's position changes but it doesn't affect you from peeing. And by your next appointment they should be able to tell you if it is a boy/girl because you are for along enough in your pregnancy. Good Luck & congratulations on your baby.

I am 21 weeks pregnant and not having quite the same problem but I know what you mean.
I think it is because having the baby there makes it hard for you to put pressure on your bladder.
Try leaning forward as much as possible, or walking around for a little while first to try to get the baby to move.

Firstly, go get checked out by a doctor, or your OB/GYN or midwife. You may have a UTI or bladder infection.
If not, try rocking back and forwards on the loo, it can help move the baby temporarily and allow you to pee easier. Also, a warm bath will relax your muscles and may help.

The gender of the baby has nothing to do with its position. Dont be silly.
Bladder infections can flare up, unless you've been tested for one while youve had these same symptoms and to the severity it might not show on the test.
It may be the position of the uterus, try lifting up on your belly a little bit when you pee, it can relieve the pressure from your bladder.
I would call your doctor and be seen. It may be stones or other things that wouldnt show on a UTI test.

Well, I have found at 19 weeks preggo that before I sit down on the toilet, if I actually lift my belly up and out with my hands and then sit down still holding it up the whole time that it is WAY easier to go pee.
Try that, its worth a shot. It works for me!
Good luck!

Try holding your belly up when you pee. You want to place your hand on the top of the line that curves down between your hips and lift upwards and slightly in. Might help.

YOu're probably carrying low and baby is in a position that's making it hard for you to void - nothing you can do about it, you just have to deal. No, you can't tell the sex of the baby by how you're carrying....
