yes. no. My older daughter got so drunk at her fancy smancy country club office party last year that she was behind the bar maknig drinks. This year they had a limit on free drinks for the first time ever! lol. One of the doctors one year got so drunk he let go of his wife dancing and she went flying into the fancy smancy Christmas tree and knocked it over. lol. Now that I don't drink I don't go cuz it is just intolerable without a drink to take the edge off and I can't have just one so I stay hom.

It wasn't a Christmas Party, but yes, I've gotten drunk at an office party. I had regrets, but I didn't get fired.
Several people got fired.

All my office parties were virgin punch n' cookies and back to work...gee, never gotten drunk at one. Although I have eaten to the point of extreme discomfort before at some of the more lavish ones.
P.S. This makes me think---maybe the office Christmas party is just another form of interview. It is where the bosses and supervisors observe the real behavior of their employees to see which ones are trustworthy and which ones are liabilities. That would certainly make a lot of sense--that is, unless the boss is getting trashed right along with the employees.

Nope never got drunk. In 7 years I've never gone to the Christmas party. I'm politically incorrect

Yes I got so drunk I fell out of the taxi in my driveway. But my regret was that was the day I found out they did drugs in our office & the ower of the company was the supplier. I can't beleive I never noticed before. I quite my job after the holidays.

Never, and that is exactly why. I love to have a good time when I drink and sometimes I say and do stuff that might be inappropriate. I would not want the people that I work with to be gossiping about me for weeks. I know how to seperate business from pleasure! LOL
