I've played both and will say the XBOX 360 really has next gen graphics and some of the games are unbelievable! Especially Dead Rising.
The Wii and the XBOX 360 are really like comparing apples to oranges because the Wii has a completely different feel when you play the games. Not all the games however are awesome, like Red Steel and Trauma Center. However games such as Wii Sports and ExciteTruck show off what the Wii can really do, not just in the gameplay but the graphics too.
I think the Wii is revolutuionary in the way in lets ANYONE play the games even if they aren't interested in video games. I think its also just flat out more fun that playing a normal video game. It gets you into the game because there's no more "I don't know what button does what?" It puts you into the game and thats exclusive to the Wii which is why its my choice in the next gen war.

Only pay attention to those who say they have both systems, I my friend, do have both the Wii and the Xbox 360. I still give Wii the thumbs up.
Both systems are connected to my Samsung 50 DLP TV. Both using Component cables. The Xbox 360 graphics are nice, but I will tell you that the Wii graphics are not too far behind, the Zelda Twighlight princess using component cables looks great. As for gameplay, I have yet to find first party games like Nintendo brings out.
For your money, the Wii hands down.
Why not get both. The Wii is $250 and you won't find zelda on Xbox anytime soon.

Technically the 360 is the more powerful machine... but when choosing a console you should get the one with the most games you want to play (Or get both so you can enjoy all the best games)
Currently waiting on a Wii and considering a 360 in the new year...

In terms of power and graphics the Xbox 360 is a much better machine in that regard. In terms of innovation the Wii is much better as it is bringing gaming to a new platform with its controller.
The Wii has arguably the most hyped game for a very long time which is of course Zelda.
If I had to pick I would prefer the WII but both are excellent.

There is ALOT of people out there asking which is better. And ALL the answers are totally one sided. The Xbox360 and Nintendo Wii have two completely different approaches to gaming.
The Xbox 360 has some amazing graphics, and it's everyone's favorite system for online play. The 360 has been out for alot longer than any other next gen system right now so it obviously has alot more great games out right now than the Nintendo Wii.
But don't count the Nintendo Wii out, it has some very good games out right now around launch time and is deffinatly and uniqe and fun style of play. There is alot of talk about breaking windows and exauhsted people complaining to Nintendo about there new system's controller working them too hard. Well, that my friend, is not really the case, the Wii is not quite as active as all these people jump around and make it seem. Sure you have to move it about and do things with it but if your not hyper active and on steroids, there's nothing really to worry about.

I would say Xbox 360. It has better graphics and more games. The wii's graphics are pretty much like a ps2. Also the wii can't play dvd's.

The Wii is sooooooooooo over rated if u r that sad to play tennis on a computer game then its for you y cant ppl go out and play tennis. Im also a big PS/PC gamer but the XBOX 360 is still better, i mean the adverts god this proper 16 year old guy jumping around like a idiot.

I have an xbox 360 and its cool. i've never played a wii so i don't know if its any better, but naturally i have to go with the 360.

Xbox 360, Wii don't even come close to it, then again if your a girl then the Wii be ok for you as its meant for the girl market.

Well to compare the Wii and the 360 is just not fair. While I have both systems they are nothing alike.
"muscle cramps...that wii conroller isn't too good afterall"
As Nintendo said...start to work out.
