The lamp is located in the rear of the reflector/lens housing. To remove, twist off the retaining ring. If you do not have enough clearance, you may have to remove the battery.

Once the retaining ring is off, simply pull out the lamp/socket and disengage the lamp. There is a small plastic retaining clip on the socket. If you cannot disengage with your fingers, use a flat-blade screwdriver and gently pry up.

There are numbers on the lamp that will indicate what type it is. Look for 9005, 9006, etc.

WARNING! Do not touch the glass bulb of the new lamp with your bare fingers. Use gloves or even a tissue. Why? The salt in your sweat can cause the lamp to explode when power is supplied, therefore causing you to do the whole job over.

To re-install, click the lamp in to the socket, insert in to the rear of the reflector/lens housing, and reinstall the retaining ring.
