The answer to both of your questions is "yes."

It can take several weeks for hormone levels to balance out and a new cycle to get underway following a miscarriage. Did you see a doctor and was blood taken to track your hcg levels back to zero? It's important to be sure that all the "products of conception" have left your body; if anything was retained you could get an infection.

It's also possible you are pregnant. You can take a test but unless you know that your hcg levels had zeroed out from your pregnancy/miscarriage, you won't be able to tell whether a positive result reflects a new pregnancy, or hcg from the former pregnancy. It can take weeks for hcg to fully leave the system.

Also, if you were still bleeding when you had intercourse you were at increased risk of infection, so please keep an eye on yourself and/or contact your doctor.

Good luck.

Your body is doing a lot of changing right now. Your hormones are still probably a bit out of whack from the previous pregnancy.
There is a chance that you can be pregnant again though. I would wait another week or two and take a pregnancy test.
You had sex just 5 days after a miscarriage?? You really should wait a few weeks for your body to recover. You risk getting an infection that soon.
It can take 6 weeks or more for your hormones to recoop from a miscarriage...and even longer for your period to return. Maybe you should check with your doc and just be sure that everything is okay before you go and get pregnant again.
Good luck!
