The Chicago Cubs is the answer to this question. I really like the moves the Cubs have made with Soriano, DeRosa, Lilly, Cotts, and even Marquis. Resigning A-Ram was huge too. The Cubs now have an awesome 1-2-3 punch with Lee, A-Ram, and Soriano in place for the next 5 years. If all 3 are healthy, they will carry the Cubs offensively for now and the future. Additionally, Pie will be ready in 1-2 years to take over in center which will allow Soriano to play right field. I expect Lilly to put up good numbers moving to the National League and Marquis has lots of talent. Additionally, the Cubs have good young arms like Marshall, Hill, Mormol, and Guzman. If Prior and Wood could ever get healthy, this could be a good team for many years. Go CUBS!

AL - Red Sox
NL- Cubbies
Red Sox are putting alot of stock into Matzuaka to lead the pitching staff when schilling retires this coming year. Also putting Papelbon into the starters role, signing Lugo, trading for a setup man and reliever from the Angels, tenitively signing Drew, Lester is getting better, All they are missing is a top notch closer and they are most certainly playoff bound if evenone of these great players atleast has an average year.
Cubbies are spending money like its going out of style, cause they were awful last year, finishing dead last in the majors. They putting up serious cash and signing Soriano, Rameriez, possibly Marquis, retaining Wood, and showing no signs of stopping there with pretty much every considerable open on the table being advised, shows this team WILL DO ANYTHING to get to the big show for the first time since over a half century ago

The Yankees have made the right moves by NOT doing what they usually have done, over reacting to what other teams have done. They have gone about their business of upgrading our pitching by trading Sheffield and have not traded away our youth for an older prospect. Restraint has been the key this year.

The Toronto Blue Jays have added much to their team starting in 2005. They have added Frank Thomas, pitcher A.J. Burnett, B.J. Ryan, Resigned Roy Halladay, got Troy Glaus (3B) in atrade, and now signing Vernon Wells for Cenbter Field. I think the Yanks and Red Sox best look out.
