I have a toshiba laptop a55-s106 with 1.4 ghz processor and I got need for speed carbon edition that requires 1.7 ghz of speed, I would like to get at least 2.0, can anyone tell me where do I get one and what do I have to do to install it?

You could try getting a decent laptop cooling pad and overclocking your processor.

Laptop processors are not really upgradable. You pretty much have to replace the whole motherboard, and once you do that, you may as well buy a whole new computer.

This is partly why laptops are not meant for gaming.

Laptop processors can be pretty hard to upgrade. You might try putting in double the amount of memory the software requires first. That can make a bigger difference than a few percent CPU speed.

It seems that laptop can only support up to the 1.4Ghz CPU that you already have installed. You will probably have to get a new laptop.
