We've been together for 6 years. A month ago he went away and cheated on me with another woman abroad. Came back and broke up with me. I decided to move out and did it. We do talk occassionally but he tells me I'm like his best friend or a sister now. He keeps in touch with that woman overseas, although I think it's mostly sexual attraction (saw a couple of text messages in that direction) and there's no foundation for the relationship there. I try to move on. It still hurts, but I have no other choice.
Do you think he'll ever realize what he did and what a great girl (myself :)) he threw out of his life? For some reason I want him to understand that and feel sorry...

You know what, stupid guys never realize anything. It's his loss, not yours. It hurts b/c you still love him. Being together for that long, you will probably always love him. The best thing to do is not to dwell on it. Just remember that HE did it, not you. Let someone else find out what a great girl you are! Let someone else treat you the way you SHOULD be treated, like someone special cuz you are.

On a side note, I am really sorry that this happened to you. I've had a similar experience and it is not easy. It's hard to stop thinking about him, I know, but you owe it to yourself and your esteem to look beyond him. There are more worthy guys out there!

Hi ,

Some people in this world are like this....we wont realize them till they show thier real face for us...
People like this are saddists i think...they cant understand others sorrows or feelings...just think about the future if u would have married with him...think that u are saved from such a guy due to god's grace...

I too had an experience like this...he didnt understand how much i was hurted deep in my heart...true love comes from heart ...if ur lover's love is true, he will come to u ..otherwise think that it was God's decision..."Man can dream..but God decides it"..hope u unserstood...Be positive in life...may be any other guy who may really understand u is waiting for u anywhere in ur future life...hope for the best !!!!

The only way he will ever realise what he has done is if something similar happens to him. I no its hard but remember that your not alone and although yeah you will probably aways have some sort of feelings for him it will get easier. Just try not to lock feelings away, talk to friends and family about it and one day you will reliase that you have not even thought bout it. You deserve someone far better, and he is out their.

Of course you want him to feel bad for betraying your trust. It's obvious he is an idiot. He had a great girl and left her for a piece of a**. He will prob realize waht a dummy he was in a few weeks when the realization of it all hits him (and the stupidity). You deserve a man who is not going to run off with the first hot chick he sees. It will be hard, but it's time to let him go. He is not good.

God, I dont think he will ever realise how badly he has destroyed your trust in people. How disgusting his behaviour has been. He doesnt deserve your friendship, nor your time. I find it repulsive that people treat other people like that, its disrespect at its worst.

What happened to honesty? What happened to working things out? Sometimes some problems make me doubt there is any decent men left.

You will get over this sweetie, you'll see!

He may feel that way eventually, but it's not the sort of thing that would, or should directly effect you. Don't think that because he may someday regret past mistakes, that he will want to rekindle the relationship.

Your best move would be to get past it, learn from it, and move on.

Honestly i dont think he will ever know how much pain he has caused you. When my ex cheated on me he told me it was my fault anyways and i deserved it.. ( he was overseas for the military ). He still after 3 years dosent know what he did to me... and im even married now and it still hurts

i have been cheated on and it truly does no longer experience sturdy. as well the believe being damaged, you eventually end up consistently comparing your self to the different woman and also you may alsways fall short on your ideas. Your ego receives badly bruised. Then there is the anger that seems no longer feasible to enable flow of. Why do human beings do it? because adult men opt for to feed their ego (a twin of girls). they opt for to carry close they're alluring and they discover that out by technique of "who they could get". we many times choose our personal attractiveness by technique of ways appropriate someone is it extremely is in touch in us. then there is merely basic lust. that is amazingly perplexing to stay committed to someone at the same time as there is someone who's rather getting to you. it takes a large number of self administration and committment to the modern relationship. Many adult men are petrified of committment. they in certain circumstances attempt to continuously have a fashion out. getting in touch with somebody else will be the way out in certain circumstances. This has no longer some thing to do with us, what we are doing incorrect. It has to do with someones personal social and moral criteria. yet in certain circumstances fearing it can make it come real. shall we are saying you're so fearful and also you're jealous and also you commence to leaf by skill of his issues.
