yeah. almost all of them. most indian soundtracks come from movies. it can get annoying.

About 99.9% of Bollywood films are musical ... it is very rare when they decide not to include a soundtrack. But not having the songs just doesn't make it feel like a Bollywood movie, there has got to be that additional entertainment value.
Although some movies do tend to put the songs in some of the wrong places, good movies tend to mix the song into the story and is able to be a lot more powerful in expressing the emotions of the actors and the story than just mere acting.

Yes, Although there have been some without the dance and song numbers. Movies made by people like Ram Gopal Verma are more Hollywood style. They have some song and dance numbers, but mainly in the background unlike the regular Bollywood movies where the 'dance and song' is a part of the movie plot.

Hello?!? Don't you realise! It's the music & dance that make Bollywood movies... Bollywood movies. Creative, yet annoying when there are dances and songs in the middle of suspense.

Most are are musical. I think that's the whole magic! The movie 'Black' was not a musical and there are some movies that do not have the ususal song-dance numbers.

Not really.. there are some movies without any singing or dancing. like the movie, Kabul Express. Wow. john abraham is so hott in that movie. :)

I asked a man from India about that myself. Even serious historical based films have them. His reply was that because of the HUGE rural population in India, who just love music in general, want these in their movies that they see regardless of the subject, and they are too big of a demographic to ignore.
