Nope

As long as we are as diverse as we are, people will always find something to fight over.

Right now it is Islam -vs- the World.
Even amongst the Muslims (actually ESPECIALLY amongst the Muslims) it is a fight to the death everywhere you turn.

Look at just the Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq.
The Sunni, Shi'a, Druze killing has reached a crescendo of violence that has nothing at all to do with Americans being here.

They are killing each other because they are too stupid to stop.

Yes, stupid.... I said it....... they do not see themselves as anything but 'walking dead martyrs' who cant WAIT to blow themselves up and escape the misery of their rotten existence. If they can take ANYONE with them when they press the trigger even better.

All we hear from them is "Allah Akbar" muttered over and over.
"God is Great", as if God has anything to do with them killing innocents all around them.

The religious leaders sit in fancy palaces and mumble something about "The one TRUE faith" but in reality they are just as dumbfounded about how their own followers are acting so stupidly and with such reckless regard for human life.

No there will never be peace. Mankind is too selfish and self-centred. Whilst that may describe only a handful of people, it seems that the handful rules the world and dictates how things will be.
Until we learn total tolerance and agree to disagree on issues of culture, religion, likes and dislikes.....we're doomed in seeing our differences as hindrances and not for what they really are... our differences colour the world and makes it so beautiful.

Honey your question is far from being dumb! This is a very good question. Because this is the type of question that millions of people ask themselves everyday. They may not verbally say it out loud. But they're definitely thinking it.

My answer to your question is just this: I pray for it all the time and I'm hoping so big time! Whether it happens or not, well---it just makes me feel good to think that maybe one day it might happen. So keep your fingers crossed and I will too!

I don't think there will ever be World Peace again. Not the way the war in Iraq is going. Unfortunately...

It's kind of a commitment thing.
If everyone did it, yes there would be peace on earth.

God Bless.♥†
