Who is better and why? AND you cant just say batman because he can have Kryptonite and beat superman, because ANYONE can get pick up Kryptonite and "kill" superman. I need a valid reason why batman would be better than superman. (I mean, he has NO powers! Clearly I'm all for Superman)

I say superman is the best of the two. Lets look at the facts. Superman can fly, batman has to get a jet to fly. Superman has unlimited amount of strenght, so it seems, but batman is merely a man and has his limits. Superman, has heat vision, batman has to pul another gadget from his belt. Superman has x-ray vision, batman I've never seen him use it but I'm sure it could be made and well he would have that ability on his utility belt as well. Superman doesn't need a sidekick or a crew. Batman is a man and has limits so he needs someone there to help him out. Just like Michal Jordon had Scottie Pippin (sp, is probably wrong) batman needs his robin. Superman doesn't need teammates, he was born a superhero not made into one like every one else. Superman is the only superhero that is actually SUPER, he is the only on that relies soley on himself. Well that is my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Ok here is why I think superman must be the worst. There was many times were batman has defeated superman without specific gadgets or any other stuf except for kryptonite he only used so that superman would get a little bit weaker because i mean come on its just impossible then. Actually i do recall once when superman shooted his laser at batman he reflected it back to superman using a mirror and knocked the day lights out of him. And also superman is really, really really stupid, and i'd rather choose intellect over strength

I definately prefer Batman. Because he has no powers he is so much cooler and smarter. Besides Superman depends on Batman a lot and no way would Superman be able to handle some of the dark stuff Batman does. Mind you Superman has powers that make him able to fight things that Batman couldn't, but Batman would find a way to deal with whatever comes his way. Besides I like that Batman has a tight knit team, Superman REALLY doesn't have a team that can even compare.

there is a justice league storyline i read where someone from inside the team was supposedly leaking secret informtion, so batman captured the entire group by himself... including superman. i forget how the story ends, but i remember thinking, "wow batman is sooo badass."
and the kryptonite thing... yeah... anyone can get kryptonite and kill superman, but it's pretty rare stuff and it'll only turn superman into a human... it's wedged into his heart i guess . batman always has some kryptonite in his little belt.
so batman... superman will never see it coming.

Batman.
Just like Superman said when he and the rest of the JLA were captured by the Martians. Batman was the only one to have escaped and he was taking down Martians left and right and they couldn't understand how he was doing it

Many good reasons from above answers for Batman. I can give an easy one.
Batman has no qualms about killing someone if he has to. Same mindset that had him maintaining files on all the JLAers and ways he would use to take everyone down if he needed to. Supes doesn't have that mentality... his morals would get in the way. If it came down to fighting each other, Bats has the edge because he wouldn't hesitate in killing Supes if he had to.

Batman because he worked to get where he is through training and studying he has earned what he has and no one can take that from him. Superman was born with and grew into his abilities and though he is fairly intelligent it would take more to defeat Batman if the two were put on equal strength levels. Batman has more willpower and he know no matter how dark it is how bad the situation he can find a way to win .

#1 superman is better becasue he has powers and he has a suit that can protect him from kryptonite and superman would still win if batman had kryptonite because superman could kill him with heat vision....... batman has no powers. superman could thump him and knock his head off
