Fined .... heavily. Probably about 20k. The tough thing is that there is no video evidence, but T.O. admitted that he did it, so Roger Goodell doesn't need proof. I wouldn't be surprised if he got suspended for a game because Goodell has an opportunity to set a precedence with stuff like this and he has stated that he wants to clean the game up a bit. We'll see.

He probably won't get suspended. He will get fined but it might not be as much as everyone thinks. He probably would have gotten suspended if there was video evidence and he didn't admit it. I don't think that Sean Taylor got suspended or even fined for last years incident. I know Romanowski did but can't remember if he was suspended or not. If there is any suspension it probably won't be for more than 1 game.
Just one footnote. Players love to taunt each other and at times can say some pretty bad things to one another. Although spitting in someones face should never happen, it doesn't surprise me that it does. If you take a look at T.O.s recent history, nothing he does should surprise anyone. It's just like if you were to mess with a wild animal. One minute he could be fine and the next you got a big lugie in your face. D. Hall should have just played ball and let his game speak for itself. He's too good a player to get involved with something like that. T.O. just got the better of him all around this time.

T.O. was probably provoked, Allen Instigated the whole thing, it's been going of for years between those two players, fined...ok, but fine Allen too.
I hope you all realize alot of players talk trash on the feild to either draw penalties or indimidate other players, Happens all the time, I think TO just Got fed up with Allen, spitting was not the thing to do, however, it could have been much worse.

just a fine will do. any discipline will have to come from the team itself, and i doubt they will. on another note, we'll never know exactly what deangelo hall said to him to get spat on. T.O. has played the game a long time, and i've never heard of him spitting on anyone, so whatever d hall said, must've been pretty bad. as for why he flipped out-it's called becoming a superstar. turned him into a "me" player instead of a "team" player.

in the previous two incidents when spitting was involved once with Romanowski and then another player, each was fined but no suspension levied. I would suspect that a fined will insue, but there is a new commish now who might have a different method of dealing with this situation.

The mere fact that this moron keeps getting attention, millions of dollars, and other such benefits is proof positive of what a pathetic society we have become.
Here is a 30? year old man who behaves and acts like a child. He teaches children that showboating, ripping your teammates, having a "me first" mentality, sleeping during practices, drug usage etc. are acceptable forms of behavior.
Basically, he needs to just go away. Forever.

Unless the NFL has video proof that it happened, I don't believe they can do anything. He could have said he did any number of things during the game that would have made him look like an ***, but without physical proof I don't see what they could actually do.

He wouldn't be suspended because the Cowboys need to get a bye in the playoffs. Plus Jerry Jones is not about to suspend him.

I think a fine would be in order, but surely not suspension.
