I would like to thank everyone for the ansers but some of you were right. It was false labor. I went home took a warm shower, drank more water than a camel and laid down and then the back pains were gone. I will be 38 weeks on Wed and still waiting for this little one to come out. Why is it taking so long? I had my 2 sons at 36 weeks. Some people tell me that this one may be a little girl. I don't know the gender yet. I just don't understand why is taking so long. These Braxton Hicks are getting worst not to mention I fell the baby and feel alot of pressure. I cant wait to drop the ball. I am here at work because if I stay home it will probably take longer.

Well, just try to occupy your mind. Work was the best way for me!!! EVERYONE in my family had their babies on time, or early. Not me!!! I just *knew* I'd have her around 38 weeks. Yeah right. (this was last year) I was due on Monday, September 26. I worked up until....Friday, September 30. The doctor said he'd induce the next Monday so that was my last day for sure. I was SO ready to be induced on Monday night. First, I had to go to the school campus to take a test and run a few errands...that Monday. That didn't happen either because she decided she would come on Sunday, October 2...SIX VERY LONG DAYS LATE! But they all come at the right time for them. Some babies come early and some babies come late...but trust your body. She will come when she is ready and of course, it'll all be worth it!

You won't want to hear this, but I'll say it anyways. You'll just have to be patient. It'll come when your body and the little one is ready and not a moment before. Many women go through this, and it doesn't help when you're tired of being pregnant and feeling of the aches and pains associated. Just hang in there, it'll happen.

I think that if u don't deliver now, its because your body is not ready. I had braxton hicks contractions at 30 weeks gestation. They finally had to induce me...
To have a baby with nice mature lungs, you have to deliver around 40 weeks.
I know how you feel because I delivered my two kids at 41 weeks but it will be much easier for your baby at delivery if he is all mature.
You are almost done....
Good luck girl!

You are still too early for natural inductions to help much probally but these sites will give you ideas. The last weeks are hard especilly since you were early before.

My fav's were rasberry tea, evening primrose oil and walking the stairs - that really kicked little contractions into gear.

my daughter wasnt born until the day before her due date and they induced me then, then I had to have a c-section, my bones were too small for her to fit through , so she wouldnt have been able to come by herself anyway, but I know how you feel I thought she was going to stay forever. Good luck and congratulations

good luck to you. Enjoy it while you can, as you know they are a lot of work once they are here. Soon enough tho you will hold the baby in your arms. Hang in there!

Be patient! I know you just cant wait for your baby to come out. It is best for it to be full term and be ready for the world when it's time. Not to worry... just relax and it will soon out to meet his mummy soon!
