I have just started going out with my friend after we lost contact for a few years. We are both 21.
We have only been back in touch for a few weeks, and see each other on a Friday night where we will both get drunk.
Last Friday, we went to watch my Brother-In-Law play in his band, then we went to where her dad was running a karaoke in another local pub.
Then we got split up and went our seperate ways
Anyway, got in touch with her the day after and she has made up a conplete LIE and said that i tried to Kiss her dad, who is mates with my dad and is in his 50's it makes me feel sick that she could say this as it is NOT true. Can anyone help me in what to do? I am not willing to be her mate anymore, but i am completely perplexed as to why she has made up this lie! I am not being funny but i am a young, attractive woman, and it is an insult to me that she would think this!

Sorry!! Didnt mean that it is an insult to kiss older men, but HER dad-yes, it IS an insult!! Only because I have known here Dad since i was a baby!!

People lie and most don't need a reason. The truth isn't interesting, or doesn't meet the criteria of what is going on with the liar. Most do it to get attention, its sad and disturbing and for some unknown reason lies travel faster and gets around alot more than does the truth. Keep being the good person you are and don't mention this to anyone because her lie is more interesting than your truth.Don't be the victim twice.

I know its probably playing on your mind love, but if it was me, i would just ignore it, maybe she was the one who hit on your dad?? and she is trying to cover something up that she did last night, i dunno. But i reckon she knows you didn't and is clearly making this up for a reason. But for whatever reason, she sounds PROPER messed in the head man, i would just leave her to her own devices and get on with your day.
People like her will ALWAYS bring you down in life, move on, get someone to share your time with who is a little clever than she is then maybe you might not find your self in a situation like this again . Avoid her at all times, if and when you see/speak to her, tell her she is weird and you don't want to talk to her ever. Tell her an apology is not even going to cover it.. So if it went her that said the lie, at least she knows that it was a lie and you are not like that. But if she did nt say it, then who did?? you might have some hatters out there somewhere gorgeous!!

I would confront her about it in front of her dad because it's almost likes she's jealous for some reason and is trying to make you look bad. So in turn I'd ask her about the lie she told in front of her dad so she can see how it feels to be put on front street like that only this is something that really came from her mouth so it would really be worth it to see her expression. Talk with your dad about it. Ask him to talk with his friend and get to the bottom of the vicious lie. If her dad knows what she is saying and it is not true then the best thing you could do is let him know. He is of course part of the lie just as you are. Good luck. Sorry this is happening to you.

Wow. My dad did an analogous element, however the neighbor had an abortion. Plus, my mum and dad weren't married so I style of AM his illegitimate daughter. in any case. i could be curious, yet i've got have been given adequate of my very very own to shield. i think of i could basically want her success in all her destiny endeavors and pass on.

contact her? what for she has proven to you already that she is not your friend by bringing up such weared and biig acussations.
dont contact her
if she really is your friend she will realise the mistake she made by accusing you of such a thing
and she will contact to say sorry
just dont take that first step let her do it
if she doesnt forget about
am sure your whole world doesnt revolve around her
you will find other nicer and good friends

You sure it's her lie, and not someone else's mistake? Maybe one of her friends saw you talking into his ear (as you do when a pub is loud) but from where she stood it looked like you were snogging. Is it out of character for your friend to say stuff like this? Ask her why she thinks this. Good luck

You need to find out if someone else has told her this false information and talk it through with her. If someone has told her this then she is probably hurt and angry with you at the moment.
Idle gossip is not good enough reason to lose a friend.
Then again, if she has made it up herself - don't bother with her again, shes obviously a bit strange!!

get in touch via text saying if you continue to spread lies and malicious gossip about me i will be forced to take you to court pending a charge of slander!!!
If however you do not and think that this is just some petty childish game i suggest you look into the cost of a solicitor because your gonna need one....

she is obviously the loonie your best just staying away from her she is a liar and liars are the worst type of people i think especially ones who tell vicious lies like that which could hurt alot of people tell the people you care about what she is sayin then they wont hear it from no1 else and then get away from her its her problem being such a liar she deserves a gud slap 4 that comment aslong as the people u care about believe ya leave her 2 her sick world of lies
