Do you miss how the NBA used to be played in the 80's in 90's?

I miss those days because the Eastern Conference wasn't a hole in the floor and that players league wide actually played defense, and I mean man to man, not this zone crap.

The offense was better too, in today's game if you shoot 40% from the floor that's pretty good. Think about how many bricks you see in a game.

Its this simply players were better all around players, they had complete game, inside, outside, defense, many players could play mutiple positions.

I'll say this though, this year the NBA has improved over the last few years, the shooting is better, still no defense.

I primarily watch NCAA basketball, watch how they play, excellent ball movement, well run transition offenses, good post play, its how the game was meant to be played, not some video game crap.

hell, yes! when you had college bred athletes like ewing, hakeem, mj, reggie, stockton and malone, drexler, bird, magic, dr. j, the ice man, and countless more. that and when a player got traded to a really bad team, they wouldnt whine and refuse to play, they would suck it up and take it like a man. they were men back then. now, they are a bunch of overpaid, thug teenagers.
