Depends if the apology is sincere, and adresses the issue at hand. An empty apology is almost as wrong as anything you could have done to provoke the person in the first place. Good luck, I hope you are successful in making right with the person you wronged.

Once should be enough, if the person is not willing to forgive and forget there is not anything else you can do.
We are to forgive as many times as someone asks for forgiveness. Matthew 18:22
Apologize 3 times and if they won't forgive, give up. That is just my opinion on this.
You can't make someone accept an apology.

A person should give one sincere apology. To keep apologizing just sounds insincere.

Probably just once..if someone is going to forgive you, it doesn't matter how many times you say the words "I'm sorry", those are just words. Either they will end up forgiving you, or they won't.

Grassy is always sorry if he hurts the one he loves. If your loved one is REALLY hurt just tell him you love him and comfort him. It will pass. Forgive with your actions and not your words.

Once, do it sincerely and let it go. After that, it's their problem.

once. It doesn't mean much after that... and you'll likely not convince them the more you do it...
