This boy was a good friend up until this year when drama got in the way. I plan to pursue a career in theatre and when I landed the biggest lead our school had ever offered he was pissed on behalf of those who did not get the lead. Then I went to homecoming with a SINGLE guy who's ex hasn't stop bit ching about me since and he was pissed at that. when someone let it slip I was absent from school most of last year fighting anorexia he had a field day and for months has been insulting, harasing and bit ching about me to my face and others people's. Online too. Just last week, he got a few guys to start hammering me into the ground with insults in english so I went to the dean and filed a harassment suit. I felt good up until now when half the student body hates me. I fel like crap. Did I do the right thing?

Yes, you did the right thing. His behavior has steadily become worst. If left unchecked, he could get violent. If his behavior continues in this fashion, you may have to file for a restraining order. Do not underestimate what he is capable of doing. Your situation is my worst night that I worry about happening to my daughter.

I think that you did the right thing. Once you leave school, you will probably never see any of them people again. And even if you do just so happen to work with, or ever run into one of them i highly doubt that it will completley hurt your life. anyone that talks about you is just jealous and wants to bring you down. If half the student body hates you, oh well. you're at school for school not socializing, that's what church, bars or whatever your deal is, is the best way to meet people that will not be like that to you.

I would have done the same thing. Why didn't you just sit down and talk out your problems? He was wrong for what he did and all you did was defend yourself. Who cares that the guy you went to homecoming with USE TO have a girlfriend. He was single and you was the one that got to go with him. Don't let these peoples opion bother you, because their opinions don't mean nothing.

Yes, you did do the right thing...you have just as much right as anyone else that this is happened to, to be angery...or fill it out...have u ever thought that maybe he got mad at u cause he thought he was gonna lose you and that he cares bout u...that everything u was doing just pushed him farther over the edge....

You do not have to put up with those who would try to damage you verbally or otherwise. OK, you've had some issues. . . we all do at some time or another. Did you do the right thing? I think so.
