Depends. I know someone on JSA who is a musician and occasionally gets paid a little bit to play a gig. I wouldn't grass on that. Someone getting Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Housing Benefit and whatnot while clearly not entitled to all these things is a more serious and in those cases, yeah I probably would but it really depends on each case.

We have a neighbour about 3 houses down the road from us. He gets a car [i think every 2 years] a brand new car. He lets his son use the car to visit France, is that legal. He also has some illness or other and suppose to suffer from sever backache. He has just finished building a boat in the back of his yard. Is that right, what do you think.??

I’m 22. I privately rent. I’ve with my misses and little girl. the gov says I could have more working tax credits if I get married - I can't afford to get married, need the credits to do that.

I thought about getting my misses to claim benefits - her mum use to do it.

decided it was more economically beneficial for me to sell weed and less illegal - well, less morally straining.

when you've got mouths to feed......£34 a week is not enough (I get way more than that!)

so yes i would like to grass them up, but will never do it, and no, i would never claim benefits - never have (except child benefit, but everyone gets that - but that's only £13/week)

I do not approve of benefit cheats.

But the country loses many times more money every year through tax evasion than benefit fraud, and no one seems to get very worked up about that.

Maybe it's because it's the middle classes who evade tax, and working class people who fiddle the social?

If you're going to come down hard on one, come down hard on both.

Most Benefit cheats are the so called Single Mothers ( we know you have a boyfriend ) - and nowadays - its Ordinary hard working families - who have to bend the rules relating to the Family Tax Credits scheme to earn a few extra quid... dont go looking for cheats...just as long as you know you arent doing it..?!
