I have read the books like a hundred times. It was brilliant! So I had high expectations for the movie and as soon as I saw it I was really disappointed. It had many different scenes in comparison with the book and what's more a friend of mine that hadn't read the book didn't quite get the story-line.
I trully think that the director could have done a better job.

I'm a fan of the book,I wasn't dissapointed because I didn't expect it to be 100% true to the book, now I'm more afraid of Durza! But overall I think it was ok,maybe the "fans"of the book should've made the screenplay themselves, don't you think?
P.S.I put " " on fans because if you're a fan of something, you're a fan all the way.

Actually, because of all the universally bad reviews (professional and amateur), I am a bit afraid to see it. I am 2/3 of the way through the book now and I'm really enjoying it. I'd hate to see a bad movie based on a good book, so perhaps I will give it a skip.
