is it because you feel that affection for them?
or because you find them attractive...or because u lust for them?

If its only the wife always doing it and her hubby is not responding back, does it mean he does not feel attracted towards her?

Am talking about regular everyday cuddling when alone ...but in a non sexual situation.

Because cuddling shows pure affection! And about the lust am pretty sure theres not much of that when you cuddle.
Cuddling is a silent way to say i love you beyond everything in life!!

Though I'm not married, I like to cuddle with my girlfriend. It has everything to do with affection and feeling close to her. This may sound cheesy, but I actually feel safe when we have our arms around each other and cuddling. We're in our own little world, and just like the feeling of being in physical contact with each other. It's not at all sexual. It's very emotional.

I don't know about if the husband doesn't respond. Did he cuddle before? Or did he just never cuddle? It could be just something from how he was raised. Some people aren't accustomed to showing their affection in that way.

I am assuming that you are asking this question because your significant other does not like to cuddle. If he/she used to like to cuddle with you but now doesn't. Then there is probably something wrong in your relationship. If that is the case then I would think that you know or at least have an idea of what that is. If he/she has never liked to cuddle then you probably knew this when you got into the relationship. Some people are just not into cuddling.

For the warmth and the feeling of love you get from someone you love its like you can just feel the love pouring out of them..but my husband and i don't sit around and "cuddle" all the time..mostly while laying down whether that's while going to sleep or laying on the couch watching TV.....and i guess some people just don't like to be affectionate towards their spouse i don't think it means they don't love you just that they have issues, personally i could never be with someone like that for too long because i am a very affectionate person...

All of the above! Mainly to cuddle without sex involved is a show of affection for you and your spouse. My man always cuddles with me when he comes in from out side with a great big gentle loving hug. And there are times I have to say to him, "I need a hug" for the simple reason he is not craving the affection at the same particular time. Right away he will drop what he is doing and we take time out of work for cuddle time. At bed time, we don't always have sex, but, 99% of the time with sex or without, we fall asleep cuddling. It's great to have this much love for some one and get it back in return.

Well cuddling your own spouse is certainly safer.

People hug because its nice. Why do you need a reason?

If it was because the other is attractive then why do most of us close our eyes?

If its for sex then a lot of people wont get far for hugging on the street.

Hugs are for the other person. You, the giver, may enjoy if the other responds.

Your friends husband is selfish.

I would think you'd cuddle with someone because it feels good. Maybe you should ask your husband if there is a reason he doesn't cuddle with you. Don't try to guess just ask him it could be something simple, but don't be a nag about it. Tell him it feels good to you, and you miss it.

I do it because it feels good. I find my boyfriend attractive, funny, and i love him, its natural for me to want to cuddle.. I could do it all the time, but I think that would bother him, females are more affectionate then males.

I cuddle my wife a lot, but only in private. I do it because I feel very affectionate towards her, there's no sexual connotation.

Ask him why he doesn't hug you back. Tell him he should try harder and that you deserve his attention.

Being wrapped in my hubbys arms is the most comforting place in the world for me. As we just hold each other we can feel each other relax after a week of stress and too much time apart. (He works out of town and I take care of the home place, child and work full time.)
