whether ur friend, realtives, family members or even your spouse. There is this guy I know who is just like that. I don't know whether to turn deaf ears on him or what?

I would go with the deaf ears too.. unless it is someone you can distance yourself from.. I have an uncle and his son who are like that.. we just nod and don't pay any attention to the babble of lies. good luck ;)

That's so hard, you never know how to act around them or whether or not to take merit in anything they say. First off, just don't have him any questions. If he doesn't have an opportunity to lie he won't. If he starts making up stories or just lying when he's not even asked a question politely call him on it and ask him things like, "Is that true?" but don't call him a liar outright. Either way just don't put a lot of stock in what he tells you

Step back away from the person if you can. Liars have more problems then just lying. This person really needs help. Mental illness is something others can see quite easily, but the person who has it can not see the forest for the tree's.
Good luck and I had to step away from someone who constantly lied. It was hard...

My ex was one - and I've cut him out of my life completely. I feels good not having the drama of what's real and what isn't hanging over my life.
