The Exorcist. That voice of the Devil coming out of that little girl...that was spooky.

Gotta go with the Exorcist. There's just something about the verisimilitude of the girl's suffering and the frantic attempts to explain it away as some mental thing. The clinical scenes with the monstrous medical equipment and Regan's whimpers of pain and confusion during that scene somehow reinforce the utter incapability of modern materially-focused humans to deal with the supernatural. It really points to Man as lost and groping against the maleficent Devil. A real masterpiece and frightening in a deep way.

"What lies beneath", by Harrison Ford & Michelle Pfiffer. It was GREAT! I couldn't sleep afterwards & I was shaking most of the time, all that & it didn't had any blood scenes in it! so you can imagine how good it was. You gotta see it!!

lately i am always disappointed before the movie ends. when i was little, predator and aliens used to scare me. freddy too but he's too much of a jokester. so...i like horrors but am rarely horrified.
