Is DDR slow??

I know that it runs at 400megahertz as oposed to the DDR2 which runs at 800megahertz BUT does DDR which runs at 400megahertz run slow?

If your computer is made for DDR2, you cannot use DDR in it, the processor will not function properly without DDR2.
