The reason why these five women were murdered is because they were part of a group that is extremely vulnerable to attack. If the stigma surrounding prostitution is lessened and prostitution laws reformed then this group would be less at risk, so I do not believe that anyone should be punished for engaging in this activity.

Detained or arrested? perfect right it extremely is a few suggestions on the version (link under). If the officer stated you have been under arrest yet you gained no Miranda rights (indoors the U. S.) and additionally then you definately cheerfully stated him which you had in actuality devoted the suitable crime and gave him some information, not some thing which you stated might choose for use against you in a courtroom docket of regulation for this reason of actuality which you weren't learn your rights, and if an learn might prefer to not have stated you for this reason of actuality the criminal without those particular information, you will prefer to not legally be charged. yet he instruct you how to bypass with a value tag and you likely did not communicate a pair of homicide, so calling it an arrest or detention, the version seems moot.

Prostitution is not actually illegal in the UK. Neither is using the services of a prostitute. Admittedly there are a lot of other laws in place that you can fall foul of by using prositite but unless there is any proof that someone broke them they can't be found guilty of them. People's sexual needs are their own business and not for anybody else to pass judgement on. Providing it's involving consenting adults, basically, we should keep our big noses out of it. They aren't doing anybody any harm.

I think with the current legislation anyone using a prostitute should be prosecuted. However, I also think that prostitution should be legalised as this would give them some protection and ensure medical check ups are carried out. Certain men will always go to prostitutes, why not make it safer and cleaner, at least then if your husband, boyfriend etc. does it they won't pass some nasty disease onto you.

As I understand it, it's not actually illegal to pay for sex - just various activities surrounding that activity (kerb crawling, soliciting, etc).

How far is it right to go in restricting the legislature to those who are "whiter than white" (to use Tony Blair's phrase - no racial undertone intended)? For me, it's more important that politicians are financially honest, intelligent, and genuinely committed to the welfare of their constituents. Weed all the crooks, incompetents and party yes-men out first, then maybe then we can start worrying about the sexual morality of the handful that remain.

No, no and no. Unless it for child prostitution.

Wether or not they want to pay for sex in no way makes any difference to the way that they do their job. In fact by providing relaxation and stress release it could help them do better.

This is a throwback from the time when adultry was considered a crime against God's laws. It has litle relevance in today's society.

The question here concerns both the law and morality. They did not break the law I believe but if they use prostitutes, it is morally wrong and aganist the ethics of law and society.

Top Cop's and Politicians are a fickle bunch of self servers. To not be in need of either service would be a blessing.

It is not against the law to pay for sex. It is against the law to ply for trade in public, to kerb crawl and the like. I believe that as long as their personal life does not affect the job they are doing it should just that personal.
