Someone I know has this (varicoscele) and no, it cannot be repaired with or without surgery. Basically , the testicles are being heated up by varicose veins. That means that sperm production is very low.

A man can still father a child, but his sperm count will be low and the sperm may not be of good quality.

To your ist Q: Only surgery can correct a varicocele.

To your 2nd Q: If its proven that the varicocele is the cause of that man's infertility, then only surgery can give him a chance to father a child (Surgery gives him a 50% chance to improve his sperm count, but only 50% of those improved can have a chance to impregnate).

However, not all men with varicocele are infertile. And not all male infertility are caused by varicocele. And not all varicoceles require treatment. I hope i didnt confuse you,,

A very touch subject. I suppose I'd like to say I'm against male circumcision, but sometimes I'm not so sure. And the intersexed babies, I do jump at the chance to say no, yet that's not set in stone. I think of the boy who had a botched circumcision and they tried to pass him off as a female. Wrong on so many levels. Foot binding is just totally unnecessary and unattractive and anti-women. The same as corseting girls. Should a woman decide to engage in any of them when older, that's there business. I am so against piercings on children. My ears were pierced unevenly and I don't want to go get two more piercings just to fix them. Just let the kids decide when they get older!!!

Varicoceles are often treatable by surgery, and fertility is restored in some men. Each case is different, but a surgical urologist that specializes in fertility can help with this matter.

The first one is not totally impossible but the second one is a bit vague and bizarre!
