you have to realize that its not like its a disease that you catch its not like you ask to be the way u r its a feeling and some people take those feelings and turn them into actions and once they "experiment" they realize its what they want so there is no right or wrong answer for this question

I appreciate your open curiosity samantha. I realize that you're young and inexperienced in these matters. The truth is that people are just plain born the way they are. Be it straight, gay, bi, and all other categories you can think of. Some people are "late bloomers" and some aren't. It all has a lot to do with one's overall maturity rather than experience or society.

You don't 'become' gay/lesbian. You're born that way. You may go through some hard times admitting it to yourself (because who in their right mind would want to be part of a group that is as reviled, hated, and often physically attacked as those in Gay community).

Why do people turn straight? Before questioning others, I suggest asking the same questions of yourself. You'll find the answers are most likely the same regardless.

People don't become gay; they admit it, or accept it, or realize that it is who they are.

sometimes it has to do with what happened in the past. like me when i was younger i used to get fondled by my brother and when i would tell my mother she wouldn't believe me because he was the"good" kid. sometimes it don't have nothing to do with what happened in the past sometimes people get turned out, or just the environment they were in when they were growing up.
