I want to become a storyboard artist, but ireland does not recognise this type of course.

The best film schools are in the USA -- University of Southern California in LA, and New York University in NYC.

You'd want to major in something like film, animation, or sequential arts. The best film schools in the world are those in N. America: New York University, University of California Los Angeles, University of Southern California, and Vancouver Film.

There is an art school in Dublin, although I forget the name - it's been a while since I lived there. Perhaps they offer film, animation or sequential arts?

I have heard that Florida State University has an excellent film school.
