I am a current ebay powerseller. I have done ebay over the years as a living. I have attended many seminars and rubbed elbows with Pierre Omidyar (founder of ebay) . At first I started selling stuff around the house, then I went to thrift stores (the profit is not so good) . The best luck I have had is with my current provider of the last few years. I wish you the best. Email me for support. Please visit my provider at http://tinyurl.com/yb3cct

There are too many variables to answer this question. It especially depends on the time of year (small gadgets and decorations do well during the holidays) Small electronic parts and accessories for vehicles always do well.

You can also list stuff for sale at http://www.whyabe.com for free.
