My daughter just got one the other day, I thought it only worked with a MP3 players, however, it works with MP3 player, CD players, game boys, or any other musical device. It reminds me of the virtual pets (tamogottchi (sp) You have to feed it music and pay attention to it, so that its personality grows, You are supposed to feed it music for 5min ever hour (yeah right) As a mother of a 13 year old I think it will end up being one of those things that's really cool for a couple of weeks and then ends up under the bed collecting dust, but for now my daughter is really enjoying it.

I belive that it works like the ifish. You plug your mp3 player (or other music device) into it and it lights up, moves to the music and plays the music through its own speakers. The ifish is kind of neat like that. I hope your daughter likes it.
