In 1923 the United Kingdom and Nepal formally signed an agreement of friendship, in which Nepal's independence was recognised by the UK.

Yeah... Wikipedia note that it is 1768 (unified by Prithvi Narayan SHAH) Hmmm... can't really remember the actual date... I think it is either Feb or Dec, in 1923, Britain recognized the absolute independence of Nepal

Nepal has no independence day...It was unified by King Prithivi Narayan Shah. We celebrate that day as "Prithivi Jayanti". It would be around second week of January.
