It´s Kit-Kat´s slogan. Its supposed to be kinda cute, cuz when you eat a Kit-Kat, you normally break the 4 pieces apart first, you know? So in their slogan they kind of hint at that by saying have a break, and also they mean give yourself a small break...from whatever stressful situation you maybe in, at the moment. Its like they´re saying having a Kit-Kat´s a good way to relax for a couple of minutes.
Hope this helps. =)

Kit-kat candy bars used to have a commercial that went "give me a break, give me a kit-kat bar." I guess it means pause from what you are doing and eat a kit-kat, maybe not literally, but figuratively.

Kit-Kat is a candy bar, 4 wafer type cookies covered in chocalate that you can share with others by "breaking off a piece". So "give me a break" is to give a piece of your candy bar.

my ex was shoveling in a kit kat and an almond joy yesterday, and he's gained like 40 lbs since I last saw him. I think it means he's finally off the dope.
