A few years back, I read an article about putting blue lights in a candelabra in the window, it was supposed to wish fire fighters and police a merry Christmas, a rememberance for those who serve..
No, a Jewish family would not use Christmas anything. The neighbors have blue icicle lights along their roof line, they are not Jewish, and the ones across the street have candles in the windows that are blue, same thing, Christian, not Jewish.
A lot of Jewish people choose not to advertise that fact to the world, especially at Christmas, it could inspire a hate crime. Others put a menorah in the window. To each his/her own.

Although blue and white are Chanukha colors there are no rules for making a Christmas tree a symbol of Chanukha. Most of the Jewish people I have know who had trees for the holiday were decorating for friends. All in all that would make the tree a Chanukha Bush.

I live in suburbs N. of LA....where there are many Jewish homes but predominantly christian....
I asked a jewish friend she said that this was the norm out here atleast in the Valley...
Blue icicles , Holiday light say that May be mostly Jewish. Also, i could verify that with my neighbor...They also want to get in the Holiday spirit....

no, most jews (I know from experience) do not participate at all in the practices of the harmless ritual of christmas lights that is really just an American tradition these days and little to do w/ religion. It could though, sure why not. Blue Christmas lights are cool!

No. Jewish people, with the exception of Christian Jews don't celebrate Christmas. They don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah and don't celebrate His birth.
