LOL! A lot of body parts will go numb while you are pregnant, hon, and your leg is the least of them. Yes, its normal. Give it a good rub and sit down and elevate it for awhile when it happens. The position of the baby generally accounts for that happening.

I'm really surprised people are saying it's normal because my doctor asked me that question routinely. I don't think it's normal. My cousin had a blood clot in her leg during pregnacy and it caused all sorts of complications. Ifyou have a clotting disorder it can affect the nutrients the baby gets, too. I don't thinkyou should freak out but def get yourself checked ASAP just in case.

It's quite possible that the babies position is causing pressure on your sciatic nerve which would account for the numbness. You'll want to discuss this with your MD as he/she may have suggestions for exercises to help.

If the baby's pressing on a nerve or artery, it's possible that either the sensation or the blood circulation can be cut off... Try to switch positions to keep the baby off that spot.

Yes that's totally normal. The baby is probably laying on a nevrve. Get used to it LOL! ;-) Good luck to ya!
