I have a friend in Japan who I want to e-mail messages too. I know they don't use SMS and instead have an EMail-like address, but I don't know how to message them.

My message menu of my phone has an E-Mail option but it needs setting up. I have set up Yahoo! WAP mail but it only sends to P.C. EMail.

Does anyone know how it works? Or how to set up Email on my mobile? My phone is the Motorola KZR K1, and I am on Vodafone.

Thanks.

Everyone phone has an email address. Have them call thier provider and ask what the suffix is to thier email address. For instance if you have Verizon, your email address is yourphonenumber@vtext.com. With Tmobile it's yourphonenumber@tmomail.net. With Sprint it's yourphonenumber@sprintpcs.com. If you can find out thier email address for thier phone, you can send a standard text to that address and they can send text back to your email address and you won't incur any international text messaging charges

i think of you need to get a eastern version of yahoo mail or hotmail. I actually have a hotmail account that I opened with MSN Japan, and that i've got not any project with receiving e mail in eastern, and eastern and English blended. however the ingredient is, once I deliver e mail in eastern from uk to a pair eastern cellular telephones, it style of feels to rework into loopy symbols (suggested as mojibake) so you might nonetheless adventure some problems...good luck nonetheless.
