As long as you still feel young, who cares! And your right, the young will get old.

To be honest I love being this age, 42. At times I hate hearing twenty somethings call me man but I put myself back in check by saying "I deserve that respect!". Then I love hearing people guess that I am a few years younger. It all comes out when I talk about shows such as 'The Rifleman', 'The Carol Burnett Show' and 'Dragnet'. Most of the time the conversation is left up to me.
Because my last child is a senior in high school and the rest are both in college, I do have a knowledge of their generations music but I love busting their bubble telling them that that beat or song is as 'old as I am'. It kinda keeps them in check from thinking that their generation is so-o-o-o great and everything they do is their own! They can't even come up with their own music without 'biting'! I do think that some old things have been enhanced but to duplicate something is the sincerest form of flattery, right? I love it. I do know enough to give 'em their props along with love, respect and kindness because they just may have to support me one day. If needed that will be fine because I also taught them that that's what love is all about...it crosses all lines even age. Let's not forget the old for without them none of us would be here today. And with the war zone some kids live in today, lets just pray that they could be so blessed to even reach forty, hell even twenty-five!

Well I am 29 years old. I know my kids call me old already. But, I look at it hey I am 29 and I still can feel young by participating in things that my kids enjoy such as basketball, football. I stay active and all that so I feel young.I don't let what other people say bother me. Just take life as you go. We all get older every year. its a fact of life!

I'm 51 years old, but don't look it. However, I feel it. I felt it a long time before people started realizing how old I am.

One thing for sure...I sure as heck don't take anything for granted, which is something I bet most younger people don't even think about.

Enjoy your youth...there's a reason why they waste youth on the young.

I wont know until I get there. However, I feel very young at heart. And my children tell me all the time I am not old yet. So, I will have to get back to you on this one. However, I have great respect for my elders, most have a great deal of wisdom. No one really gets old by being foolish. God bless****

Age is a number and old is a state of mind. When you realize that, it doesn't matter what anybody thinks. Life is all about maturity and growth through education and experience, not aging through someone else's eyes.

Everything I learn and go through just adds to my expansion. It also enables me to share with and help others. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.

I guess you would call me old, (58). But I think old is just a state of mind.
You have to keep active and take care of yourself. I have a lot of friends a lot younger than me, teasingly they say I'm old but we just laugh about it and I work with people my age that act like they are ready to be put under any day now.
I keep telling my 9 year old grand daughter that I'm still cool and hip. She tells me that I just have hips but I'm that I'm not hip,, LOL. Gotta love her,, :)

Keep a smile on your lips and a song in your heart.

I can tell you from experience that it sucks. You can stay young as long as you feel that way. Even though it's all in your mind.
