Why do people on yahoo answers, as an answer to a question, suggest that the asker uses google, or even yahoo.

Im sure most people are intelligent enough to think of that themselves, after all you have to come through a search engine to get to answers!

Because they are lazy and don't really want to answer the question. I always answer the question, even if I just go to a search engine myself I post the link to the search I performed.

I think the best answer (which I sometimes do myself), is to give an answer and in addition the web page for more info...

well some times it's much faster that way because you can just type your question on there and you will get the answer in the first 5 results

Maybe they cannot explain it briefly and simple for people to understand, that's why they recommend you to go the website so that you can see the examples, pictures and the details.

sometimes ppl ask about things that can exist in a million web site...they can really find great info easly if they just search... that is why
