OK.. so the feminists told us long ago how bad sleeping around was.. and that "STUDS" were not a good thing..
So we introduced feminism and freed up the ladies..
NOW 20 years later.. the women have taken over where the men left off.. and now it's the women who are sleeping around being "Studs" or female versions of it..
Isn't this very hypocritical? doens't this weaken the whole feminist movement as it all but proves that women are worse than men??
Furthermore, with the high rate of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (30% in Australian females now) doesn't it suggest that sleeping around is not what nature intended for us??
I find that most modern women feel it is totally OK to sleeparound for a bit of fun.. I never did this .. and I'm a male!! nor did most of my male friends.. why is it that now women as young as 14 are having sex weekly and engaging in conduct once considered vile..
Has feminism let women down or what??

If you thinking about marriage, wait till your about 30 yrs of age, so that way, you will know by now what you really want out of life in general and what type of man, you would like to have in your beautiful life. The answer to your question, has to do with their sex drives. Single women who sleep around alot, means they have an extremely super high sex drive or horniness. Hope this helps.

Not all women think it's okay to sleep around, just like not all men think it's okay to do so. I feel that it's a personal choice.
As for you statement concerning women as young as 14 sleeping around, it appears to be even younger than that. Just reading some of the questions and answers by young people are Yahoo! Answers is alarming at times.(assuming the q and a are legitimate)
A movement cannot let women, or men, down. We do that all by ourselves.

Well look at how men objectify women as sexual objects. I've been with guys and pushed them away only for them to scream on me as if i were a child, or make me feel like I owe it to them because we're hanging out. Also why is it ok for men to sleep around but when women do it we're the bad ones. It goes both ways it takes two to do the deed. I think promiscuity by men or women is dangerous at this day and age with all the std's going around but like I said before it takes two maybe we should teach girls to respect their bodies instead of show it off.

Its not sleeping around, society has just changed, sex is less formal. Women had just as much sex as we do now, it is just more acceptable to talk about it and be more of an open sexual person. Yes, some women are more casual in sexual settings, but don't generalize us :)
For thos who do go crazy they may lack self esteem, or the ownership of a cute pink vibrator.
You'd be surprised.

I dont understand your reasoning. No, it's not ok to sleep around - neither for men or women. But at least now there is a bit of equality in it. Women always did it, but it was much more hidden years ago than it is now. What feminism brought about was an increase in awareness that led to a little bit more of equality between men and women. Anyway, what does sex have to do with the feminist movement? It is not telling us all to have unprotected, unlimited sex.
It's not women that sleep around - it is men and women. I dont see you getting all worked up at men who sleep around. I dont know if you know this, but if a women is sleeping around, there is usually a bloke there with her. She can't really do much on her own can she? So, just as many men are having sex as women.

There is still a double standard about that. Its not considered OK for a woman to sleep around, she is usually labeled a **** or whore pretty quickly. Only men can get away with sleeping around. Nobody ever talks about a man being "used up", but women are constantly being called "used up whores". Do not pretend like society turns the other way for women, because they dont on this issue.

Just like some men, not all women sleep around. Use your noggin and stop trying to get the "women haters" going, okay? :-)

Of course it is ok for a woman to "sleep around", if she likes it, if she is responsible and if she protects herself. This is a private decision and it should be respected. Most people I know - men and women - had a phase of changing partners, and later they settle and stay with one person. No problem. People should take their nose out of other people's bedroom. Or are you jealous?
