Hi there and Merry Christmas to all. I was wondering what a good gift would be for my husband? We just celebrated our anniversary on the 16th and my birthday today and now Christmas is coming. We have two children and all our money is for them for Christmas. I want to get him a little something but want it to be special. I had a dvd made last year with family pic.s and videos included and had music put to it, it almost made him cry. It was really sweet. I don't know how to top that this year. I am at a loss. We are on a tight budget and he said not to get him anything but I wouldn't feel right with him not having nothing to open and our kids would notice too and probably get upset b/c daddy didn't get anything. Do you great people have any suggestions? I've given cologne and clothes and movies and cd's.... Can you think of something special that worked for you? I do love him so much and want to give him a special present.....Thanks and ho ho ho

if you cant do the dinner do the other :)
Make a prime rib. Good au jus. Fresh carrots in butter. Lots of butter. This is not the time to worry about health. Red potatoes after boiling, let butter and use nature’s seasoning and let melt and simmer. Candlelight. A fire or a dvd or a fire place. Then….

Make a hot bath. Use candles all around tub. Different sizes because you have so many in the home and place in saucers, tins, cups, etc. instead of getting real rose petals, write rose petals on pieces of paper and tape them up the drive to the front door, and then bathe your loved one, using a sponge and bubble bath with the candles lighting the room, and then take them into bed have them lay on it and massage them with scented oil all over, arms, legs, you know, and then as the romantic music plays…

You know his hobbies, interests, and style better than anyone, so something personal along those lines is always a good bet. He will understand if the money is as tight as you have said it is. He is probably worried about you in the same way.

Lastly, with a guy, you can never go wrong with intimacy (you know exactly what I mean!) Special time together says, "I love you," best & too often the obvious is overlooked.

You are welcome and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year together!

Plan a night for the two of you at home. See if you can get someone to keep the kids for you. Prepare something easy for dinner, light some candles, maybe pick up a movie or a new CD (mood music), just relax together. Gifts don't have to be things, they can be events. Make him a gift certificate for your night together so he has something to open.

Tools are always good present for guys. You can get a cordless drill for as little as 25 dollars.

A swiss knife is ALWAYS a good guy present. You can't never go wrong with that.

Is he into sports? A jersey ot a baseball cap from his favorite team is always welcomed,

Dioes he have a favorite restaurant? A gift card for his favrite restaurant or coffee shop is a hit.

I hope that this helps

Here's the biggest single difference between men and women: although men love presents too, they would PROBABLY love, more than anything, to have your undying love and attention.

Might I suggest making a coupon book of nasty acts? Such as blo w jobs hand jobs massage footrub whatever. And then ENTHUSIASTICALLY allow him to redeem them. But maybe a "one coupon per customer per day" and "non-transferable" should be printed on them.

go to Marshall's or Old Navy. Marshall's has great deals on gifts up to $25 and Old Navy has a sale right now. they're both within reasonable budgets. everything else has so so prices.

How about a super sexy sexy pic of you, go to a photographer, for $25 , or exchange games, we always buy very little for each other, so we give a game to each other, two player appropriate and enjoy it all year round.

Get something you both can enjoy, the games idea is fun.

this year i went all out for my b/f but my cheapest gift was less than $5...my mom had taken some pics of me (with her digital camera) and there was one that we both thought was the best out of all of them...so that was the only one I didn't show him. went to walmart and had them print it out and bought a frame for it. he had said he wanted a pic of me for his desk at work....so there it is. the photo was about $0.22 to print and the frame was about $4.50 or so....so get the kids in on it and take a pic with you and the kids, print it out and frame it.

hope this helps!
