How are you helping the environment?

We don't throw ANYTHING out the car window. We use those energy efficient light bulbs. We turn off anything electric, gasoline, or otherwise.......when it's not in use. We keep our vehicles in good running order. We drive easy..........at speed limit, but easy starts and stops with no gunning the motor. We car pool whenever possible. We keep the indoor temperature low in the winter and high in the summer. We change the furnace filter every month. Our hot water temperature is not overly hot...............

You don't have to be fanatical to help the environment. If we were all just sensible, and not so overly indulgent, the environment would be in much better shape...........and would stay in better condition for our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren...................... :)
