okay i need a cheapish pretty thing to hang neckalces on!?

have looked everywhere for a thing to hng necklaces on....e.g a tree thing or something, no grosse floral things or funny dressed bodies, something cool or funky or simple. ne ideads or sites etc? please hlp ! xxxx

You could make your own buy getting some dowels and using a drill. Get a 3/4" dowel, cut it to...12" or however tall you need it to be. Then buy a 1/4" dowel, cut them to 2 1/2" long, every 1" on the 3/4" dowel make 1/4" deep holes, on an angle, and put the 1/4" dowels into them, secure with som wood glue. Get a square base 3" diameter, cut a 1/2" deep x 3/4" hole for the 3/4" dowel to go into, secure with wood glue. Let the glue dry, paint it if you like, let that dry and you have a necklace tree.

Or you can look in A.C.Moore for one. I just like being creative.

I understand where you're coming from on the no floral-type thing: About the only floral things I really like are flowers and perhaps pictures.

Have you tried one of those boards that you hang keys on? If you don't see one you like, you might try making one. There should be directions at DIY.Com or a similar site.

Try thinking outside the box. How 'bout a key holder display or cup tree? Or, hang some "S" hooks around the top of a lamp shade.

I was limited on space so I bought some brass screw hooks and put them on the back of my closet door.

I think you might find some at walmart or k-mart they have some nice there so i think you will beable to find one there.
