Yeah, the newspaper comics are the authentic ones for me: Garfield, Calvin and Hobbes, The Far Side, among others. My favorite Far Side cartoon had a flying saucer leaving a yard where they had tagged humans like we tag animals. The joke was that the aliens had used huge tire-like devices with long antennae around the humans' necks, and the humans were still lying unconscious in front of their house.

Zits is the funniest, and my favorite. It is about a teenage boy, a few of his friends, and his mom and dad. It is sarcastic and clever.
