well, it all depends on their level of dirt and if they are getting bath that night.
if my son spits up and he got his shirt pretty good, then i will change his shirt.
if it's just a little bit and we aren't really going anywhere, then i'll leave it on.
if he has spit up a few times and it's not a ton, but it's a bit crusty and he's going to get a bath soon, then i'll let him look like an orphan for a few hours.
hope that helps! oh, and i change him for bed and when he gets up in the morning.
take care.

Your babies clothes really only need changed if he/she has spit up or made a mess in them. Other then that, just an outfit for the day, and some PJs at night. Thats all i did. Of course when they were infants, i sometimes had to change their outfits 3-4 times a day depending on if they spit up or not.

You should change the baby's clothes at least once an hour with designer clothing because the clothing trends change just that quick!

My son practically lived in pj's until he was about 7 months old, if we weren't going anywhere he would be in his pj's. Would only change if he had a leaky diaper, spit up on it etc. If he had an accident free day, and the pj's still smelt good, he might wear it for 2 days. Now that he's crawling around he wears pj's at night, and a crawling friendly suit for the day (unless he gets it wet). And then I usually put the same pj on that night since he only wore it to bed. Saves on laundry.

As often as needed, Such as the baby spits up alot on his self, has a diaper accident, etc etc. Babies sleep most of the time at first so just a onesie and a pair of footed pajamas would be fine for around the house.

Well I changed my son anytime his clothing got wet. Be it from drool, spit-up, a diaper leak, or a mommy spill.....that is when I would change his clothes. If he stayed dry all day then it was just after his nightly bath when I would put him in soft comfy pajamas.
Hope this helps. Good Luck, Mandy

Depends on how much filth you can stand on your baby. And trust me, they accumulate it pretty fast. But not that fast in the end. In most cases ones a day is good, under special conditions you change them after each accident, and if you go fancy you can change them every couple of hours or so. Up to you.

Looks like u r a new dad !!!! Congrats !!
u may change it as many times as u like to .i.e. if u have the time & patience to do it & ALSO if the baby does not resent it.
But see that while changing,, the baby doesnt catch a chill .

If the clothes are damp you need to change them so they don't get a rash or if they get too dirty. Being dirty can spread germs and make the baby or others ill. Keep the baby clean, but not necessarily spotless...

Anytime they get soiled, overly dirty, or wet. It can be a challenge, but they need to stay clean and dry, so you could be changing clothes quite a bit. Try using a bib more often as well.
