its australia, it only snows near canberra and we all know about canberra. we dont play cricket in winter because its no fun without sweltering heat

Cricket is generally known as a summer game and as such the same is played in summer. If cricket is played in winter, game can be interrupted due to due factor, dampness in the pitch,wet outfield, due to fog, snow etc.

cricket is a summer sport, when its winter we play our two football codes. in winter, the cricket team tours other countries in their summer.
and no it rarely rains in aus, let alone snows.
