When I was 13, my mom and dad gave me a Christmas stocking on Christmas Eve that said "Baby's First Christmas". That was their way of telling me that my mom was pregnant with my baby sister. (I was an only child).
And, this year, my grandson was born on December 12--the best early Christmas present ever!

One of the coolest presents I received was a collection of polished rocks Quartz, agates, Obsidian, etc; but then I was infatuated with collecting mineral specimens.

A rocking chair that took my husband, father and brother-in-law all Christmas Eve day to put together. Was wondering what was going on in the garage?!? It was beautiful when they finally figured out how to put it together.

Hubby's family pushed Christmas forward by two days so they could celebrate with me. Everyone was there, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and they all came in from out of town so that I wouldn't miss Christmas with them.

I got a rotating globe with a clock, the globe is made of semi precious stones it is just beautiful and now I collect them. Also a gold covered rose.
